Our team
We do Estonian business in every sense – it is important to us that Slepti furniture is designed, developed and manufactured in Estonia. Slepti beds and mattresses are handmade by our experienced craftsmen in Jõhvi. This is our small contribution to the development of Estonia's remote areas and employment. We want to offer good sleep with our products and sleep with a peaceful heart even after many years, which is why it is important for us to create a working environment that makes people always happy to come to work. Our good colleagues all have over 20 years of experience in their field, whether it is sewing, furniture production or selling sleep accessories.
Sustainable mindset
Sustainable and environmentally friendly production is as important to us as caring for people and their health. The fabrics, latex, foam, springs, batting and wool used in our products carry the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification mark, meaning that the materials we use are free of harmful compounds that would endanger human health or the environment. High-quality and durable products are always a smart step towards a thoughtful and more sustainable lifestyle.
Latex
All the latex we use is produced in Belgium and complies with the EuroLatex Eco Standard, which ensures that the latex used in our products does not contain any volatile or allergenic compounds. This means that our products are safe and ensure a healthy sleep.
The latexes have also passed the LGA (Landesgewerbeanstalt Bayern) test and come with a 10-year warranty. LGA tests prove that our products have excellent durability and elasticity. Meeting these standards means that the latexes used in Slept mattresses meet all the requirements of the European Union Ecolabel.
TENCEL ™ Batting
We have sewn the top fabrics of all Slept mattresses and mattress toppers with TENCEL™ treated batting. This cellulose-based, environmentally friendly material has good absorbency and regulates body temperature.
Wooden frames and packaging
The wooden frames of our beds and the cardboard used in the packaging of all our products are made from FSC-certified wood. A product bearing this label comes from responsibly managed forests that value the natural environment, communities and economic viability equally.
Purotex® allergy-free technology
About a third of people suffer from dust mite allergies, which also cause sleep disorders. The new Purotex® technology is based on 100% natural probiotics, which significantly reduces the amount of allergens and keeps the mattress clean and fresh. Each Purotex® treated fabric contains microcapsules filled with natural probiotics, which open due to friction between the body and the fabric. The probiotics begin to multiply quickly and clean the fabric of allergens. With such a smart natural remedy, the Purotex® mattress permanently keeps both allergens and organic dirt away.
