Forget warm milk! The best drink is cherry juice, which increases melatonin levels in the body. KIWIS
Green tropical fruits are an excellent snack to help you overcome your sleeping issues. Researchers from Taiwan University found that you should enjoy two kiwis one hour before bedtime. After eating two kiwis, you fall asleep 45 minutes faster. Additionally, sleep quality improves significantly. Kiwis also contain serotonin and antioxidants, which help when having blood pressure issues.
CALMING TEAS
Peppermint and chamomile tea are undoubtedly the best choices before bedtime. The amino acids in chamomile tea help relax and act as a mild sedative. Peppermint tea has a calming and even analgesic effect. Peppermint helps against insomnia and excessive excitability; but drink it about 30-40 minutes before bedtime.
