We are dedicated to all things Estonian – it’s important to us that the furniture of Slept is designed, developed, and produced in Estonia. Our experienced craftsmen in Jõhvi handmake the beds and mattresses of Slept. This is our small contribution to the development of Estonia’s remote areas and employment. With our products, we aim to offer restful sleep–and sleep with a clear conscience ourselves–for many years to come; that’s why creating a work environment that inspires people to come to work with joy is crucial to us. Our excellent colleagues each have over 20 years of experience in their respective fields, whether it be sewing, furniture production, or selling sleep accessories.
Sustainable Mindset
Sustainable and eco-friendly production is as important to us as caring for people and their health. Fabrics, latex, foam rubber, springs, wadding, and wool used in our products bear the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 label, ensuring that our materials are free from harmful substances that could endanger human health or the environment. Quality and durable products are always a wise step towards a thoughtful and sustainable lifestyle.
All latexes we use to make good sleep better are manufactured in Belgium, meet the EuroLatex Eco Standard, and have passed the LGA (Landesgewerbeanstalt Bayern) test. The EuroLatex Eco Standard ensures that the latex used in our products doesn’t contain any volatile or allergen-producing compounds. This certificate confirms that our products are safe and guarantee healthy sleep.
10 years of warranty. LGA tests prove that our products have excellent durability and elasticity. Meeting these standards means that the latexes used in Slept mattresses conform to all the eco-label requirements of the European Union.
The top layer fabric of all Slept mattresses and mattress toppers have been stitched with TENCEL™ wadding. This cellulose-based material produced in an environmentally friendly manner has good absorption qualities and regulates body temperature.
The wooden frames of our beds and the cardboard used for packaging our products have been manufactured from FSC-labeled wood. Products bearing this label are sourced from responsibly managed forests where the natural environment, communities, and economic survival are equally valued.
